The Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History is a database of over 8000 works of art from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The timeline “pairs essays and works of art with chronologies, telling the story of art and global culture through the Museum’s collection” and is also searchable by theme, artist, time or place.
